#THINKB4UINK - Spell Check

So you have a great idea for a text tattoo, be it an excerpt from your favourite poem, a song lyric or perhaps something in French, Zulu or Italian as an ode to your heritage.

Get as many eyes on the piece as possible prior to coming in, have your mates proofread the spelling and punctuation. Then again, before you get the tattoo stencilled, read it, whatsapp it to your French grandmother to proof read and then go forward.

The artists see your text tattoo as shapes. Their objective is to get those lines AS accurate as possible. In terms of grammar and spelling, they will often take you at your word and move forward with your permission, ESPECIALLY when the tattoo is in a language that they are not familiar with.

Take these steps and avoid becoming a cautionary tale.
